This is the first measuring set I've owned that includes measures for 2/3 cup, 3/4 cup, and 3/4 teaspoon, so you only have to measure once to get those amounts. So far, they seem quite sturdy, and they clean so quickly and easily by hand that I have never even thought of putting them in the dishwasher. It's a bit difficult to see the measures written on the handles because the raised writing is in the same color as the cup or spoon. Having a different color for each size is helpful in that regard. I'm not sure if they can be used to measure hot liquids; I use a metal set when I need to do that.
